Species / Origin : Human; derived from plasma myeloma cells derived from pleural fluid of advanced multiple myeloma patient, homoplastic with JIM3

Recommended Growth Conditions : JIM1 cell line can be grown in Dexter culture medium, consisting of Fischer's medium with 20% FCS, penicillin (100U/ml), streptomycin (100mg/ml), fungizone (0.0125mg/ml), hydrocortisone sodium succinate (10-7 M)
