CH7C17 cell line

Relevance : Controlled in vitro study system for T cell receptor function and activation; in vitro study of action/efficacy of TCR protagonists/antagonists
Description : T lymphoid cell line expressing functional CD3 and TCR specific for influenza virus haemagglutinin peptide HA307-319 in context of human HLA-DR1 MHC II molecule
Cell Line Type / Application : Transgenic cell line
Species / Origin : Human; Jurkat JRT3T3.5 transfected with an expression vector encoding HA1.7 TCR a and b chain sequences (encoding a TCR specific to influenza virus haemagglutinin peptide HA307-319). Transfected cells were sorted for high CD3 expression, CH7C17 clone isolated as a high CD3, high specificity clone.
Growth / Phenotype Keywords : Functional TCR/CD3 expression
Disease Keywords : Immune response / disease
Recommended Growth Conditions : CH7C17 can be grown in RPMI 1640 with 10% FCS, supplemented with hygromycin (400mg/ml), puromycin (4mg/ml)
