Anti-XPA Antibody Profile

Antigen: XPA
Relevance: XPA binds to the replication protein A (RPA) and is a core component of the nucleotide excision repair pathway. XPA is involved in one of the complementation groups of the heritable condition Xeroderma pigmentosum, where defects in nucleotide excision repair result in increased susceptibility to mutagens including UV.
Clone: 2A4
Subclass: IgG1
Applications: Western blot, Immunohistochemistry
Immunogen: HIS-tagged recombinant human XPA protein.
Reactivity: Human
Species raised in: Mouse: Balb/c
Fusion partner: Sp2/0 Ag.14
Recommended growth conditions: DMEM 5% FCS
References: -
Notes: Works on pure and partially purified protein, but not on crude cell extract. Can be used for nuclear staining of XPA in human cells.
