Proliferation Marker Antibody Profile
Antigen: Proliferation marker
Relevance: JC1is a marker of proliferation.  It recognises a nuclear antigen distinct from Ki67 present in proliferating cells.  It is of especially useful as a marker of proliferation in cases such as squamous cell carcinoma where the Ki67 index cannot be determined

The antigen recognised recognises bands of 212 and 123 kDa

Please note this cell line has not been weaned out of HAT.  Ultroser G can be used at 1% if the cells are not growing well
