Anti-Plx Antibody Profile

Antigen: Polo-like-kinase protein;
Relevance: Polo-like kinase is a mitotic regulator conserved from yeasts to humans. Many key cell cycle regulators such as p53, cdc25, and cyclin B are directly targeted by polo-like kinase.
Clone: AZ34
Subclass: IgG2a
Applications: ELISA, Western blot
Immunogen: baculo expressed Polo Kinase from Xenopus
Reactivity: Human, Mouse and Xenopus
Species raised in: Mouse: Balb/c
Fusion partner: Sp2/0 Ag.14
Recommended growth conditions: DMEM 5% FCS

Notes: Positive control: Hela cells. 68 kDa MW. Use at 1ug/ml

Legend:Blot of Xenopus egg extracts (Mitotic CSF (1) and interphase (2)) and HeLa (human) cell extract (3). Molecular weight markers 120, 98, 68, 57, 43, 32, 18, 12 kD. Note that the phosphorylated form of Plx from the Xenopus mitotic extract migrates slower than the unphosphorylated form present in the interphase extract.
