Anti-CD45 Antibody Profile

Antigen: CD45 (Leucocyte Common Antigen; LCA)
Relevance: CD45 is a transmembrane tyrosine phosphatase that is present on all leukocytes. CD45 regulates the threshold of T cell antigen receptor (TCR) signaling through dephosphorylation of protein tyrosine kinases (e.g. Lck and Fyn).  2B11 is widely used, in conjunction with the CD45RB antibody PD7/26, to detect white cell-derived tumours in paraffin sections
Clone: 2B11
Subclass: IgG1, kappa
Applications: Western blot, Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin sections), FACS
Epitope: Cell surface
Immunogen: T cell Lymphoma cells
Reactivity: Human
Species raised in: Mouse
Fusion partner: NS-1
Recommended growth conditions: RPMI 1640 + 10% FCS + penicillin (100U/ml) + streptomycin (100mg/l) + glutamine (2mM) + HAT

Notes: Please note this cell line has not been weaned out of HAT.  Ultroser G can be used at 1% if the cells are not growing well
