Anti-CD45RB Antibody Profile

Antigen: CD45RB
Relevance: CD45 is a transmembrane tyrosine phosphatase that is present on all leukocytes. CD45 regulates the threshold of T cell antigen receptor (TCR) signaling through dephosphorylation of protein tyrosine kinases (e.g. Lck and Fyn).   CD45RB is expressed on peripheral B cells, T cytotoxic cells and CD4+ T cells. It has a role in cell signalling regulation through the activation of the Src family of tyrosine kinases.  PD7/26 is widely used, in conjunction the CD45 antibody 2B11, to detect white cell-derived tumours in paraffin sections
Clone: PD7/26
Subclass: IgG1
Applications: Western blot, Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin sections), FACS
Immunogen: Human PBL maintained in T-cell growth factor
Reactivity: Human
Species raised in: Mouse
Fusion partner: NS-1
Recommended growth conditions: RPMI 1640 + 10% FCS + penicillin (100U/ml) + streptomycin (100mg/l) + glutamine (2mM) + HAT
