| Antigen: |
CD31
(Platelet Endothelail CAM-1, Platelet GPIIa) |
| Relevance: |
PE-CAM1 (CD31) is a member of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily that is expressed on the surface of circulating platelets, monocytes, neutrophils, particular T-cell subsets, and is also a major constituent of the endothelial cell intercellular junction. PECAM1 is implicated in several functions, including transendothelial migration of leukocytes, angiogenesis, and integrin activation. JC70 is a good marker of endothelial cells in paraffin sections |

Please note this cell line has not been weaned out of HAT. Ultroser G can be used at 1% if the cells are not growing well |
