| Antigen: |
PCNA |
| Relevance: |
The antibody recognises endogenous PCNA protein from budding yeast, Sacchoromyces cerevisiae. PCNA is the replicative clamp protein, an essential processivity factor for DNA polymerases and an interaction partner for many other proteins. By means of its interactions, PCNA coordinates various transactions at the replication fork, ranging from DNA replication and repair to chromatin assembly. |
