Anti-Nav 1.5

Antigen: Nav 1.5 (Voltage-gated Socium Channel Nav 1.5)
Relevance: Voltage-gated sodium channesl (VGSCs) mediate regenerative cell membrane depolarization and conduction of electrical signalling in nerves and muscles. Expression is also detected in lymphocytes, glia, and fibroblasts. VGSC proteins are comprised of a core alpha-subunit, together with one or more additional regulatoy beta-subunit. Expression has been detected in a number of tumour cell lines and has been implicated in the metastatic behaviour of breast and prostate cancer cells.
Clone: 4G8:1G7
Subclass: IgM
Applications: Western blot, Immunocytochemistry
Immunogen: Peptide from an extracellular domain of Nav1.5
Reactivity: Human
Species raised in: Mouse: CD1
Fusion partner:
Recommended growth conditions: DMEM + 5% FCS
References:
Notes: Positive control: cell lines over expressing Nav1.5, e.g., Nav 1.5-HEK293 Recombinant cell line from Upstate. Western blotting and Immunocytochemistry carried out at 2ug/ml and 10ug/ml, respectively.
