Review H2 2006/7
CRT continued to grow its business around the world in the second half of 2006/07. US subsidiary CRT Inc. made its first collaborative partnership with Fox Chase Cancer Center in 2007, and CRT Ltd. took on a pivotal role in the new Cooperative Research Centre for Cancer Therapeutics in Australia. In addition, the recent appointment of Keith Blundy as CEO coincides with a period of rapid expansion for CRT's Development Laboratories, increasing the number of projects that can be initiated with new and existing research partners. Exciting progress was also made by existing partners with programmes in CRT's pipeline -selected highlights include new development milestone reached in the Novartis/Vernalis Hsp90 programme, submission of the NDA by GPC Biotech for Satraplatin, and sub-licensing of both Trovax by Oxford BioMedica to Sanofi-Aventis, and Antisoma's AS1404 (DMXAA) to Novartis.
